Millions of full-text articles, many with images. Updated daily. ProQuest - Magazine and Newspaper Index Use ProQuest to search and retrieve full text articles from thousands of magazines covering a broad range of topics in the arts, business, current events, science and social sciences. In addition, the database includes articles from many newspapers, such as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and several Washington State newspapers. Other Databases Associations Unlimited Contains information for approximately 460,000 international and U.S. national, regional, state, and local nonprofit membership organizations in all fields, including IRS data on U.S. 501(c) nonprofit organizations. Auto Repair Reference Center Access repair information on approximately 25,000 vehicles from 1945 to the present with this easy to use database. Includes step-by-step repair instructions, manufacturer supplied service bulletins and recall notices, as well as wiring diagrams for most models. Biography Resource Center This database combines award-winning biographies from respected Gale Group sources. Biography Resource Center also includes full-text articles from hundreds of periodicals. Search for people based on one or more personal facts such as birth and death year, nationality, ethnicity, occupation or gender, or combine criteria to create a highly-targeted custom search. Business and Company Resource Center Business and Company Resource Center brings together a wide variety of global business information, enabling users to efficiently research business case studies, company performance ratings, industry statistics, and career and investment opportunities. Search this database to find detailed company and industry news and information. Consumer Reports Use this database to access product reviews, product ratings, product buying advice, and articles from the latest issues of Consumer Reports. The information is updated frequently, providing reliable data, unbiased information and more than 1,000 ratings, reviews, product comparisons and video clips. Grant Station: Your Fast Track to Funding Use the Grant Station database to access thousands of grant makers. Learn how to write powerful grant requests and compelling letters of inquiry. Search the daily listing of grant deadlines and link to all the grant agencies in Washington State. This database is only available in the library. To access Grant Station, please see a staff member. Literature Resource Center Literature Resource Center provides access to biographies, bibliographies, and critical analyses of authors from every age and literary discipline. Combining Gale Group's core literary databases in a single online service, the Literature Resource Center covers more than 120,000 novelists, poets, essayists, journalists, and other writers, with in-depth coverage of 2,500 of the most-studied authors. NoveList NoveList is a fiction database that provides subject heading access, reviews, annotations, and much more for over 120,000 fiction titles. It also includes other content of interest to fiction readers, such as Author Read-alikes, Book Discussion Guides, BookTalks, and Feature Articles. Reference USA Includes over 180 million residential listings and directory information for businesses, non profit organizations, governmental agencies, churches, attorneys, chambers of commerce, etc. Directory information comes from telephone directories, annual reports, SEC filings, governmental data, trade magazines, newsletters, major newspapers, bankruptcy records and legal filings. Updated monthly. World Book Online Reference Center This comprehensive database includes all of the articles from the 22-volume printed World Book encyclopedia set, plus thousands more. In addition, there are more than 9,500 pictures and maps, 115 videos and animations, 9,300 sounds, and more than 100 simulated historic web sites.
